# Orgtools Orgtools is a company's decision record. It pulls from the systems the company already runs on, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and the files people share, turns what it finds into dated facts with their sources attached, and keeps them current as those sources change. Decisions get made on those facts and written down as they happen: the question, the options weighed, the one chosen and why, the ones set aside and why, and who made the call. Then it checks what actually happens against what was decided, and speaks first when the two come apart: a plan drifting from its numbers, a fact under a past decision that has changed, a decision the company should be making and is not. A named person makes every call, and the record shows who. The AI builds the fact base, suggests participants and criteria, surfaces tensions, and watches for drift after the decision is made. It never decides. Every fact prints where it came from, and when the fact base has a gap it says so instead of guessing. An agent connected over MCP works under the same rules: it acts as the person who authorized it, reads only what they can see, and anything it writes is created by them with the agent named as the source. Not everything said in a conversation is a decision, and what is not one is refused with a one-sentence reason rather than written down. It replaces being in the room as the only way to keep eyes on a decision, and the deck as what an engagement leaves behind. It is built for founders, chiefs of staff, and COOs at any stage: decisions that live in meetings today, in Slack threads, or in one person's head. The decisions are the same decisions.
